Overall Impression

If you are sick of vacuuming or simply looking for a way to help keep the floors in your home cleaner, the Roomba 770 is an effective automated vacuum cleaner.

While the Roomba 770 robot vacuum does have flaws, it is a high-quality appliance that costs less than more modern Roombas in the series.

Cleaning Ability

The Roomba 770 uses an advanced dirt detect technology that can detect higher levels of dirt and then focus on that area to clean.

The easy-to-use robot lets you schedule cleanings or simply press the clean button located on top of the device in order to start a cycle.

Navigation

Like many of other Roombas, the 770 uses the iAdapt responsive navigation system.

This system helps the robot navigate through your home, avoiding clutter and stairs.

The virtual wall technology used by the 770 keeps the vacuum focused on areas that you want it to, and out of the areas that you do not.

Automation And Scheduling

The Roomba 770 offers a simple to operate cleaning solution: simply press the clean button and it will begin to work.

You can also choose to schedule up to 7 cleanings per week.

Once the 770 has completed a job, it will automatically return to its dock and recharge so it is ready for the next time it is needed.

What It Misses

The Roomba 770 does not clean as well as a regular vacuum, in one cleaning.

It also can get tangled on long wires and rug tassels.

Maintenance

The dustbin is easily removed and needs to be emptied after every cleaning session.

In addition, the brushes will need to be removed and cleaned on occasion in order to keep the vacuum running at its peak.
